National Incidence Studies of Missing, Abducted, Runaway, and Thrownaway Children
The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention funds ongoing research about missing children through the National Incidence Studies of Missing, Abducted, Runaway, and Thrownaway Children (NISMART). The latest data was published in NISMART-2 (2002). Researchers are collecting new data to use in an update to this study, NISMART-3.
